Orana is a masterplanned community in Clyde North that’s set to become the largest of its kind in the City of Casey. Soon to be home to no less than 4,000 new houses, 6 parks, and a mixed-use town centre, this is a project raising the bar for future-focused living.

Strategy:

The name ‘Orana’ (an Indigenous word for ‘welcome’) was chosen to represent its vision to be a place to call home for families from all walks of life, and for generations to come. The proposition of ‘Live your best life’ was then developed as an invitation to these families, urging them to establish their own long-lasting legacies.

In order to create cut-through during the pre-launch marketing phase for Orana, we sidestepped the traditional ‘renders and stock-style photography’ approach and instead created distinction with a disruptive illustrative style that encouraged a sense of discovery.

Playing into the uniquely digital solution, these illustrations were also fully animated as motion graphics within video, website and social environments, creating a uniquely memorable experience at every brand touchpoint.

Success:

It was the strong narrative, clear points of difference and a compelling suite of digital marketing tools that saw exceptional sales results for Orana.
